Virginia Ruth Wyatt, 88, of Noel, Missouri passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Medicalodge in Neosho, Missouri.
She was born on April 26, 1928 in Noel, Missouri to the late, Roby and Helen (Powell) Pritchard. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Phillip Wyatt. She worked as an internal auditor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Springfield, Missouri. She was a volunteer at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for several years. Ruth enjoyed singing and played the washboard in a musical group (the SKUMS of the Pioneers) for many years.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Wyndy Wyatt of Noel, Missouri; grandchildren, Kharma Amos and wife, Diane Fisher of Madison, Florida; Jeremy Amos and wife, Laura of Lees Summit, Missouri; two great grandchildren, Wyatt Amos and Scarlett Amos; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. Rev. Dr. Kharma Amos and Rev. Elder Diane Fisher will officiate.
