William L. Kittrell, 73, Neosho, died October 27, 2016 at NHC Healthcare in Joplin, following a sudden illness.
He was born February 18, 1943 in Newton County, Missouri, the son of William and Francis (Walker) Kittrell. William served in the U.S. Army and was a lifelong area resident. He was a crop and cattle farmer and enjoyed woodworking.
William is survived by three children, Terri Wright and husband, John of Neosho, Jim Kittrell and wife, Abigail of Neosho and William Kittrell, Jr. and wife, Angie of Granby; two brothers, Steve Wood of Broken Arrow, OK and Danny Wood of Neosho; one sister, Patty Maggard of Carthage; fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Jacob Wright.
The body has been cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
