Toney Foust

Toney Elvin Foust, age 92, Joplin, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Spring River Christian Village.

Toney was born June 9, 1922 in Cardon, Oklahoma, son of the late Oscar Foust and Beulah May Flack Foust. He moved to Joplin in 1958, and worked for Vickers for 32 years before retiring in 1984. He was a Veteran, a lifetime member of the American Legion, was a member of the VFW, and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

In addition to his parents, Toney was preceded in death by his wife, Earnestine on March 7, 1989.

Surviving family include a sister-in-law, Sally Mykel, and several nieces and nephews.

Interment of ashes will be in Osborne Memorial Cemetery.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
