Diane Ruth "Dee" Wilcox, age 59, Joplin, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at her home.
Dee was born March 3, 1957 in Springdale, Arkansas, daughter of the late Jack Edward Wilcox, II. and Muriel Dobbs Wilcox. She attended school in Springdale and moved to the Joplin area in 1992. She worked for nearly 40 years as a transportation broker in NW Arkansas and SW Missouri.
In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by a brother, Jack E. Wilcox, III, and a sister, Elizabeth Wilcox.
Survivors include her life partner, Alice Richardson of the home; sister, Connie Test and husband Scott of Springdale, Arkansas; step-children, Amanda Needham of Seattle, Washington, and James Needham and wife Charity of Kansas City, and their children, Aria and Viola; nieces and nephews, Doug Martens, Joey Bariola, Jack E. Wilcox, IV, James D. Wilcox, Valaree R. Wilcox; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12:00 Noon in Parker Mortuary Chapel with friends and family officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
