James Leon Ellison, 59, Diamond, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a battle with cancer at home in Diamond, MO on
October 21, 2016. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK on July 02, 1957. James is the son of Fred E Ellison, Sr. and Martha Louise (Goad) Ellison.
He moved to Diamond, Mo in 1959 and Graduated from Diamond High School in 1975. He was a self-employed welder. James is survived by one son, Joe Ellison, Laura and three grandchildren of Stark City. Additional survivors, three brothers, Fred Ellison Jr, Judy, Mike Ellison, Katie; and Robert Ellison all of Diamond. Two sisters, Kathy Heckmaster, Ed, and Mary West, Avery, both of Diamond.
James was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mark Ellison and a sister Barbara Ellison.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO, and a visitation will follow the service. Robert Ellison will officiate. Contributions in memory of James may be made to Avalon Hospice, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
