Reed Allen Mehrer, age 45, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 12, 2016.
Reed was born April 18, 1971, in Denver, Colorado, to the union of Duane and Greta Mehrer. He attended Aurora Central High School in Aurora, Colorado. Reed lived in various cities in Colorado including Greeley, Commerce City, Brighton and Lochbuie before moving to Missouri for work. He was currently working as a welder in the Joplin area. He enjoyed riding bulls and he had a genuine love for all people. Reed was always known as the jokester and he provided many laughs to others.
Survivors include his parents of Broomfield, Colorado; son, Cody Mehrer; two step-sons, Josh and Leroy; step-daughter, Christina; sister, Terrie Lane, of Denver; two brothers, Troy Mehrer of Westminster, Colorado, and Jason Mehrer of Texarkana, Arkansas; his true love, Diane; four nieces, Brittney, Amber, Morgan and Chandra; three nephews, Turner, Josh and Chuckie; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Thornhill-Dillon Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
