Clarence Edwin 'Mike' Stripling II, age 68, Joplin, passed away at 7:09 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Mercy Hospital after an illness.
Mike was born May 20, 1948 in Joplin to the late Clarence E. Stripling and Elizabeth Henderson Stripling and had lived in Joplin most of his life.
He worked as a glazier for many years for several different companies, including Weaver Glass in Joplin. Mike was a devoted and longtime member of A.A.
Mike is survived by two sons, Daron Stripling and his wife, Nichole, Joplin, Thad Stripling and his wife, Amber, Springfield; three sisters, Patti Kent, Joplin, Martha Croach-Davis, Kansas City, Mo, Myrna Richardson, Webb City; and three grandchildren, Nathan, Madison and Brett.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by siblings, Dale Stripling, Mary Biggs and Judy McClousky.
Mike wished to be cremated. Services are being scheduled for a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
