Cherie Ann Stakley left this world on October 17, 2016 following a long illness. She was born in Madison Wisconsin on April 26, 1945, and was 71 years old. Cherie loved decorating for the holidays and will always be remembered for her wonderful Christmas celebrations. She worked at the Blue Springs Walmart for 27 years, and then moved to Neosho in 2012. Recently she was a beloved resident of Springhill Assisted Living and Medicalodge of Neosho.
Cherie was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Stakley. She is survived by her sister, Charlene Cleasby of Madison, Wisconsin; two children, Connie Fortner of Neosho, MO, and Gordon Cadmus of Kansas City, Mo; four grandchildren, Angela Blaxton, Aimee Stinnett, Faith Cadmus, and Melody Cadmus; and four great grandchildren.
Private Family Memorial Service will be held.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
