(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Barbara Jean Peacock, 77 years of age passed away April 15, 2021. Barbara was born July 14, 1943 in Sheldon, Missouri. She grew up in Pittsburg, Kansas and graduated from Pittsburg High School.
She married the love of her life Berle on September 15, 1961 in Denver, Colorado where he was stationed in the Air Force.
She lived for family and loved them all deeply. Barbara was a homemaker, taking pride in raising her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her love, Berle Peacock; whom she would have been married to for 60 years in September, her son Terry Peacock and wife Brenda, her daughter Sheri Bradley and husband Robert, granddaughter Amanda Peacock Baker and husband Gabriel Baker, grandson Zachary Bradley and girlfriend Sierra, granddaughter Ashley Peacock and fiancé Chase Wilscam, and grandson Alec Peacock.
She is preceded in death by her parents Norma and Harry Short, and little sister Brenda Sue Short. Barbara never met a stranger and always welcomed people into her home with loving arms.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
