(From Clark Funeral Home)Ralph C. Staib was born January 12, 1923 in Neosho, MO to Esther (Testerman) and William Staib. He entered into rest April 18, 2021 in Neosho after an illness, at the age of 98 years, three months, and six days.
Ralph was a lifelong resident of Neosho and had graduated from Neosho High School. He was a veteran of the US Army. Ralph began his working career with a milk route with Pet Milk; he later worked for Nabisco Corporation and then in the tool crib at Rocketdyne and Teledyne until retiring. Ralph loved to be with his family, raising cattle, and being on the farm.
Ralph married the former Jean Dale on December 18, 1947 in Neosho; she passed away February 7, 2014.
He is survived by two children, Donna Staib of Ft. Myers, FL and Dale Staib and wife, Liz of Upland, CA; one sister, Ruth Eden of Joplin, MO; and one grandson, Gehret Staib of Irvine, CA. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Phillips.
The family will have a time of visitation on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho. Dr. Jerry Seigel will officiate. Private family interment will follow at King Cemetery, Neosho. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to King Cemetery, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Avalon Hospice and all the caregivers over the last several years for their special care and love that was given to Ralph.
