(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Tuyet T. Nguyen, age 79, Joplin, MO, passed away on April 22, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, following an illness.
Tuyet was born on November 8, 1941 in Vietnam. She graduated from high school in Vietnam. She married Khanh Truong in 1968 and they had two children.
While in Vietnam, she worked for the United States Embassy – USDA. She and her husband moved to the United States in 1996.
She worked for Butterball from 1996 – 2011 and then again from 2018 to present. She was a Buddhist.
She is survived by her husband, Khanh Truong Joplin, MO; one son, Hau Truong and wife Hanh Truong; granddaughters, Natalie Truong and Makayla Truong, of Fishers, IN; one daughter, Trang Truong and husband Trung Dao; and grandsons, Phillip Dao and Thomas Dao, of Joplin, MO.
A Memorial Service will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Mason-Woodard Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
