(From Derfelt Funeral Home)
Larry R Murdock, 52, of Waddy, Ky. died Sunday, April 4, 2021 in his home. Born December 15, 1968, in Columbus, Larry was the son of Larry I. Murdock and Micki Ward. His father and former spouse, Tonya, preceded him in death.

A graduate of Columbus Unified High School with the class of 1987, Larry then attended the University of Kansas where he was a member of the Jayhawk football team.
Known to his family as “Little” Larry, there was nothing little about him. He was a great man with an enormous heart and love for his friends, family and life. Larry’s voice and laugh were simultaneously booming and calming.
A treasured friend to all that knew him, Larry would do anything for you from giving you the Bob Marley shirt off his back to lending his two ears to listen and provide support and advice. He was an accomplished musician, a lover of animals and had a passion for life that few ever obtain. A faithful follower of Christ he knew eternal life in Heaven would be waiting for him. An unparalleled Titan; he was truly larger than life.
