Emma Bradley

Emma Jane Bradley, went to be with the Lord on April 30, 2022, at the age of 88. Emma was born February 24, 1934, in Neosho, Missouri, one of twelve children to James and Grace (Harris) Romine. She graduated from Diamond High School and was a lifelong area resident. 

Emma worked at the Big Smith Garment factory in Carthage for twenty-seven years and then at FAG for eleven years, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and birdwatching. She was a special mother and grandmother, and her family was her greatest joy. Emma was a member of the Diamond Christian Church. 








She is survived by four children, Carie Housh and husband, Leroy of Sarcoxie, Karla Myers and husband, Duane of Diamond, Missouri, Susan Cannon of Shell Knob, Missouri and Jim Bradley and wife, Keri of Diamond; one sister, Evelyn Smith of Diamond; nine grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son in law, Bob Cannon, her parents and ten siblings. Visitation for Emma will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 5 pm to 6 pm at the Diamond Christian Church. Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Diamond Christian Church and Virgil Eubanks will officiate. Interment will follow in the Powers Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Matt Housh, Jesse Renfro and Tyler Bradley and grandson in laws, Dale Myers, Bill McLaughlin, James Frazier, Blake Scribner and Jeff Butler.
