(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Gene Auther Joles of Marshall, IL passed from this life Sunday, May 1, 2022 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. He was 61.
Gene was born May 18, 1960 in Circleville, OH to Gene A. and Bobbie (Miller) Joles. He had lived in Marshall for 2 years moving from Miami, OK. He owned and operated Grain Bin Doctor in Marshall, IL. Gene was a member of Miller Flats Assembly of God Church in Seneca, MO.
Gene is survived by his wife Sandra Jean (Allison) Joles of the home, 1 son, Justin Joles and wife Brandy, 1 daughter, Amanda Brooks and husband Chad, 2 brothers, Steve Joles and Danny Joles, 3 sisters, Wanda King, Loretta Wright and Chantel Gibson and 8 grandchildren, Justin Joles, Frank James Joles, Jesse James Joles, Chanel Joles, Sadie Brooks, MaKenzie Brooks, Neil Brooks and Kartor Brooks.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Don Staggs will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. Chad Brooks, Larry King, Johnny Allison, Austin Erstad, Roman Gibson and Justin Joles will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday, May 6, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK.
