Harold Mason “Butch” Plain, 79, El Dorado Springs, MO passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs. Butch was born February 7, 1939 in Jerico Springs, MO to Howard Mason and Lois Faye (Albert) Plain. He married Lillie Mae Dark on December 14, 1962 in Council Grove, KS and she survives of the home
Butch attended school in El Dorado Springs. He attended First Baptist Church in El Dorado Springs and was baptized in January 1987. Butch loved to be outside with family and friends and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and trail riding with his wife Lillie. He was very crafty and was able to make almost anything, including knives.
In addition to his wife Lillie he is survived by two children, Royce Ray Plain (Sherry), El Dorado Springs, Lillie Louise Carter (David Lee, Sr.), Lamar, MO; four grandchildren, David Lee Carter, Jr., Donald Carter, Harold Carter, Dawn Crockett; one great-grandchild, Kage Crockett; three sisters, Beverly Nikodim (Joe) El Dorado Springs, Gail Louise Calloway, West Virginia, and Delma Plain, Nevada.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the 1st Baptist Church in El Dorado Springs.
