Larry McFarland, age 58 of Webb City, Missouri passed away Friday February 9, 2018 following a sudden illness.
He was born February 19, 1959 in Sunnyside, California to Emmett and June (Spencer) McFarland.
Larry was a firefighter for the City of Webb City and also worked as a police dispatcher for Webb City. He later worked as a computer analyst for Cardinal Scale Manufacturing. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. Larry enjoyed working on building projects and working with computers. His family was very important to him and he loved being with them every chance he had.
He married Terri Comstock on October 18, 2008 and she survives of the home. He is also survived by one son, Ryan McFarland and wife Samantha; one daughter, Kelli McFarland; one brother, Ricky McFarland; one sister Vicki Lett and husband Michael; five grandchildren, Jaden, Carsen, Rylynn, Skylar, and Reese; two step sons, Dustin Henson and wife Wynn, Clint Henson and wife Lisa; five step grandchildren, Lily, Fiona, Dalton, Mickey, and Jameson, and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday February 13, 2018 at Hedge-Lewis-Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Balfour officiating. Burial will follow at the Carterville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 -7:00 pm Monday February 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
