Joe Kruse, 85, Neosho, entered into rest on February 24, 2018 at his home in Neosho.
Joe was born June 06, 1932 in Neosho, MO, the son of Bryan and Opal (Eller) Kruse. He had worked in farming with crops and livestock; later he was a truck driver. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, and was a former deacon of the Fairview Baptist Church.
Joe married Lou Ann Embrey on July 29, 1955 in Joplin, MO; she survives of the home. Additional survivors include two children: Debbie Kruse and Curtis Kruse; two brothers: James Kruse and Carl Lee Kruse; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Joe was preceded in death by two daughters, Brenda Kruse and Leslie Ann Kruse; three siblings, Curtis Kruse, who passed away during WWII, Imogene Duke, and Mary Ann Hill.
Services will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO, with Jason Abbott and Denny Kruse officiating. Interment will follow at the Dice Cemetery, Fairview, MO. The family will receive friends at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel on Wed. Feb. 28 from 5 until 7:00 pm.
