(From Parker Mortuary)John Bradley Wright, age 68, of Joplin, MO, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at his home.
Brad was born on September 1, 1956, at St. John’s Hospital in Joplin, MO to the late union of Wilbur and Shirley (McKee) Wright. He graduated from Memorial High School in 1974 and began working for various office equipment repair companies in the Joplin area. He worked his way through the ranks until becoming a co-owner.
Brad was extremely talented working with his hands. He loved building and fixing just about anything he could get his hands on. He enjoyed listening to the Rolling Stones, being outdoors and spending time with his friends. He owned some property at Beaver Lake and you could often find him on the weekends spending time on the water on boat or jet ski. Brad and his friends built their own boat dock and welcomed anyone that was passing by to stop and visit. His friends nicknamed him “MacGyver” from his ability to fix about anything and most of the time just by looking at it. Brad was a true and honest man.
The family would like to thank his amazing roommate, Mindy Willis for her support, as well as his devoted caregivers, Pam Lang and Kathy Tyler.
