(From Adams Funeral Home)Betty “Elaine” Wilson, 88, of Ozark, Missouri, formerly of Lake of the Ozarks, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026 in Branson, Missouri. She was born on February 15, 1938, in Noel, Missouri, to Dee and Beulah Ferguson. On August 14, 1958, in Cabool, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Lee Wilson, who preceded her in death on July 7, 2019.
Elaine is survived by her children, Dawn Lynn Wilson of Hollister; Daniel Lee Wilson and wife Melinda of Eldon; Noelle Ann Tellman and husband James of Ridgedale; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and her brother, John Ferguson and wife Janet of Hannibal.
Elaine loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family and music. She played piano, violin, and had a lovely singing voice. Her life work was teaching piano, vocal, violin and directing choir at Riverview Baptist Church for 30 years.
Elaine and her husband Dick owned a music store in Eldon, Missouri for 47 years. They were both active in Lake Area Performing Arts Guild including many musical productions.
Elaine was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Ozark for five years and Riverview Baptist Church for 50 years. She cherished the years she spent with her family and friends. She will be remembered for her love of music, her loving spirit and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Dr. Phillip Burden officiating.
Visitation from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM immediately before the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ozark, DavidJeremiah.org or Lake Area Arts Council.
Burial and a graveside service will be held at Lake Memorial Gardens in Osage Beach, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Michael Bean officiating at a date to be announced.
