Lowell Harry Koile, age 80, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Joplin Health and Rehab following an extended illness.
Lowell was born February 15, 1935 to the late Keith Koile Sr. and Agnes Swanson Koile in Ashland, Wisconsin. He has lived in Joplin for nearly 50 years, moving from Pierce City, Missouri. Lowell was a farmer and loved to garden. He was part of a non-denominational home church.
Surviving Lowell are a brother, Clayton Koile and wife, Becky of Joplin; sister, Darlene Adams of Zapata, Texas; sister in-law, Donna Koile of the state of Iowa plus many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
Lowell is preceded in death by brothers, Keith Koile, Jr., Leon Koile, Clinton Koile and an infant brother; sisters, Madeline Starling and Alice May.
Funeral services are planned for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26th at Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri, with Gaylen Van Loon and Greg Wilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
