Charles “Chuck” McConnell, age 71, passed away Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.
Chuck was born January 14, 1944 in Carthage, Missouri to Charles McConnell and Mary Stockdale. He was a lifetime resident of Carthage. He was a Chuck of all trades as a self-employed contractor.
He is survived by two daughters, Kinsey Bowers and husband Daniel of Carthage and Brenda Jo Carnes of Bella Vista, Arkansas, one sister, Kelly Kelly of Orlando, Florida, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Larry McConnell and Kenneth Pasley.
The body was taken for cremation and memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 9th at Ulmer Funeral Home. Immediately following the service the family will be receiving friends in Ulmer’s Community Room. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
