Camron Lee Arnold Welch, age 26, Joplin, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident.
Camron was born February 28, 1989 in Coffeyville, Kansas and had lived in Joplin most of his life.
He worked as a forklift operator at TAMKO and had previously worked at General Dynamics for several years.
Camron was a veteran of the United States Army. He enjoyed working on cars; playing video games on Xbox and Playstation; tinkering with guns and fishing. His favorite past time was spending time with his son, Caiden.
He married Stephanie Lynn Elliott on December 29, 2009 in Diamond, Missouri. She survives at the home.
Additional survivors include his mother, Beverly Lynn Brock, Vinita, Oklahoma; his father, Joey Lynn Welch, Elk City, Kansas; his son, Caiden Lee Arnold Welch, Joplin; siblings, Amanda Jane Welch, Joplin, Jessica Lynn Welch, Kansas City, Missouri, Sergeant Jayson Robbins, U.S. Army, stationed in El Paso, Texas; maternal grandmother, Janie Morrison, Independence, Kansas, maternal grandfather, Lee Arnold Bynum, Independence, Kansas; paternal grandfather, Rex Jerry Welch and paternal grandmother, Emma Lou Welch, Elk City, Kansas; aunts and uncles, Lisa El Rhouaoui, Wichita, Kansas, Tonya and Jerry Hart, Independence, Kansas, Jerry and Mary Welch, Independence, Kansas, Lisa and Monte Dunhan, Neodesha, Kansas, Colonel Marcus (currently deployed to Iraq) and Kelly Welch, North Carolina; and several other extended family members and many friends.
Services are planned for Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Keith Brumfield will officiate. Military honors will be provided at the service. The family will receive friends Friday at 5:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Camron Welch Memorial Fund, in care of Parker Mortuary.
