Berenice Benhumea Ocampo, age 51, passed away Monday May 4th, 2015 at Mercy McCune Brooks in Carthage.
Berenice was born March 5, 1964 to Abdon Benhumea and Maria de los Angeles Ocampo Quintero. She moved from Zacango Villa Guerrero, Mexico to Carthage and was a resident here for 4 years. She was a homemaker. Berenice was united in marriage to Adrian Hinojosa Pedraza who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons, Abdon Perez Benhumea of Carthage, Adrian Hinojosa Benhumea and Marco Antonio Benhumea Ocampo both of Mexico, four sisters, Oralia Benhumea Ocampo, Norma Benhumea Ocampo, Carolina Benhumea Ocampo and Sara Benhumea Ocampo, all of Mexico, two grandchildren, Ana Sofia Solis and Angelita Joanna Perez. Berenice is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers, Gonzalo Benhumea Ocamp and Luis Benhumea Ocampo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday May 9th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home.
