Marjorie Inave Barrow, age 83 of rural Joplin, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Galena Nursing Center following an extended illness.
Marjorie was born on October 17, 1931 to the late Eldon Webster and Nanny "Addie" McCullah in Seneca, Missouri. She has resided in the Joplin area most of her life.
Marjorie loved people and loved dressing up for occasions. She worked as a retail clerk for several companies in and out of Joplin such as Shady Lady and J.C. Penney. She also worked for her son doing accounting work. Marjorie was a member of First Baptist Church in Carl Junction, Missouri for many years.
She married Thomas Wright Barrow on March 31, 1967 in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on May 23, 2002.
Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Rhonda Hittle and husband Roger of Asbury; sons, Randal Lee Grant and wife Amy of Marshall, Texas, Roger Harold Grant and wife Letha of Bixby, Oklahoma, Eldon Duane Winkelman and wife Kelly of Oronogo; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; many extended family, friends and her faithful dog companion, Trouble, that will miss her greatly.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings.
Graveside services for Marjorie are planned for Saturday, May 16th at 11:00 A.M. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.
Family would like to thank the Masonic Lodge for all their great help and support throughout the last few years.
