William K. "Bill" Kennedy, age 81, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Spring River Christian Village in Joplin after a long illness.
Bill was born on November 4, 1935 to the late Orbin S. Kennedy and Thelma F. Richardson Kennedy. Bill worked in the maintenance department for Lozier for 20 years.
On November 25, 1980, he married Jackalene Ferguson in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on July 5, 2013.
Survivors include a son, Bill Kennedy of Joplin; two daughters, Carolyn McCaffrey and husband, Joel of Monett, Missouri, Lisa Greenwald of Columbia, Missouri; step daughters, Connie Hinson, Paula Forman, and Carla Crow, all of California, Ellen Goodwin of Webb City and Denise Ferguson of Joplin; sisters, Mary Jean Dawson and Eula Faye Offutt; several grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary and no further services are planned at this time.
