Sharlene Alma Hawes of Sarcoxie, MO passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO. She was 50.
Sharlene was born June 12, 1967 in Miami, OK. to Harry Benton and Bertha (Turner) Crabtree. She had lived in Sarcoxie for 8 years, moving from Carthage. She had worked at Butterball in Carthage, MO and for Wal - Mart in Webb City, MO.
She is survived by her husband Stanley Hawes of the home 1 son Daniel Hawes of Battlefield, MO, 2 daughters Sara West of Webb City, MO and Melissa Carr of Sarcoxie, MO, 4 sisters Ruby Williams of Baxter Springs, KS, Pam Reynolds of Quapaw, OK, Carlene Dunbar of Kickapoo, OK and Jenny Abernathy of Quapaw, OK and 8 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Frankey Copeland will officiate. Interment will be in Sarcoxie Cemetery in Sarcoxie, MO. Pallbearers will be Daniel Hawes, Kyle West, Shawn Randall, Stephen Carr, Braxton Hawes and Charlie Hawes. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Services have been placed in the care of the Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
