Verna D. Vance-Peterson, 86, Neosho, died July 22, 2017 at the Medicalodge in Neosho.
She was born June 5, 1931 in Granby, Missouri, the daughter of Ivan and Elizabeth (Jones) Judd. Verna was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She married Wayne Vance and he preceded her in death.
Verna is survived by five children, Evelyn Bohannan of Neosho, Patsy Vance of Neosho, Doyle Vance of Granby, Steve Vance and wife, Sherry of Neosho and Bobby Vance and wife, Kim of Granby; two brothers, Bill Judd of Granby and Gary Judd of Garfield, AR; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Verna is preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Kenney; sister, Sue and grandson, Shannon Parsley. Services will be announced at a later date.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, MO.
