Amber Epling

Amber Ruthellen Epling, 30, of Washburn, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Amber entered this life on December 22, 1986, in Joplin, Missouri, born to the union of Thomas and Laura (Amey) Epling. She was a lifelong resident of McDonald County Missouri. For the last six years she was employed by the Belk Department Store in Rogers, Arkansas. Her passion and greatest talent in life was writing. She was a published author and screenwriter as well as a gifted photographer.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Epling; maternal grandfather, Thomas Amey; and paternal grandparents, Cecil Epling and Helen Epling.

Amber is survived by her parents; Tom and Laura Epling of the home; a brother, Joseph Epling of Billings, Missouri; one nephew, Michael Epling; maternal grandmother, Mary Amey of Washburn, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Juanita Epling of Owasso, Oklahoma; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Mr. John Lambert officiating.
