Martha A. Jones, 81, of Carthage passed away on September 1, 2017 at Freemans West Hospital in Joplin. Martha was born July 24, 1936 in Superior NB to Earnest Leeroy Smith and Iva “Prickett” Smith. Martha was a lifelong Carthage resident and worked at Fairview Greenhouse for 22 years before retiring from there.
Martha married Denny Lee Jones on June 19, 1954 in Carthage MO he survives. Other survivors would include one son, Larry Jones of Blair OK, Three daughters Valorie Moser, Kristi Thrasher(Doug) Donna McNamara all of Carthage. Two Brothers Dale Smith and Don Smith both of Carthage. Thirteen grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter Susan Smith in October of 2011.
Graveside services will be at 10:00a.m. Wednesday September 6, 2017 at Fasken Cemetery.
