Joshua Aaron Pickett, age 27, Carthage, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 in Carthage.
Joshua was born May 16, 1990 in Joplin, and attended schools in Joplin. He obtained a computer technology degree at WTI. He recently earned his CDL and was currently working for Schrader's Towing of Carthage.
Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Sharon Dale, and Fred Pickett; also uncles, Steven, Bryant, and Michael Pickett.
Survivors include his parents, Ellis Pickett of Joplin, Kerri Delaney of Lutz, Florida; brother, Michael Newberry of Joplin; sister, Akeshia Long and husband Brandon of Carthage; grandmother, Merna Pickett of Joplin; nephews, Peyton Newberry and Peyton Long, and niece, Kenzie Long; several uncles and cousins.
Memorial service will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel with family and friends officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
