Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Ritchie and Maxine (James) Moran, both of Carl Junction; sons, Michael (Tina) Tracy, Kevin (Joyce) Ames, both of Carl Junction, Frank 'Corky' Ames of Webb City; twenty one grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren with two on the way; ten great great grandchildren with one on the way; and three great great great grandchildren. Evelyn is also survived by her first foster child, Lora Lynn Champlin, who has remained a loving daughter and close friend to 'Momma Ames' throughout her life.

Services are planned for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Bob Simon will officiate. Interment will follow at Carl Junction Cemetery. The sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-7:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel.
