Brad Beck

Bradford A. Beck, age 66, Neosho, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his home in Neosho after a sudden illness.

Brad was born October 29, 1951 in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Wheaton, MO where he graduated in 1969. He was a lifelong resident of the Neosho area except for the years he worked as a contract driver for the U.S. Postal Service in the Southeast Kansas and the Missouri boot heel. 

Brad was a regular in the Neosho downtown area and never met a stranger. He enjoyed the friends he made while living at The Oaks Apartments. He enjoyed conversations with friends, listening to music, reading and exercising his witty sense of humor. 

He is survived by former wife Vali (Gray) Beck, daughter Jessica Beck and granddaughter Mira Leverenz. Additional survivors include sisters Julie Fountain and Mary Beth Delgado, cousin Coleen Tarpy and former son-in-law Jerod Leverenz. Brad was proceeded in death by his mother Mary (Belisle) Griffith and sisters Holly Southern and Katherine Fountain. 

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Four State Cremation. 

Memorial services are planned for four o’clock on the west side of the Neosho Square at 114 S Wood on Sunday, December 3rd.
