Junior Gouge

Junior Clyde Gouge, age 84, Seneca, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at his home.

Junior was born June 12, 1933 in Neosho, Missouri, son of the late Clyde Gouge and Angie Breshears Gouge. Junior graduated from Neosho High School, and drove a truck for many companies throughout his career including Pepsi, Foremost, Burlington Northern, Fleming Foods, Manley, and Frisco. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Gouge who died August 8, 2006, two daughters, Debbie Cullum and Lisa Vogt; a sister, Betty Joines, and a brother, Dick Gouge.

Survivors include his children, Alan Gouge and wife Donna of Seneca, Christy Grigg and husband Gregory of Blue Jacket, Oklahoma; brother, Jay Gouge of Racine, Missouri; sisters, Willa Dean Sprenkle and husband Harry, Wilma Jean Matthews and husband Dale all of Neosho, Missouri; and Peggy Spoon and husband Larry of Seneca; grandchildren, Stephanie Cope, Misty Boman, Amy Rainey, Seth Cullum, Nathan Cullum, Jason Stansill, Angela Grant, Adam Gouge, Corey Stansill; great-grandchildren, Jude, Elaina, Alex, Drake, Alexis, Tristen, Andria, Victoria, Hunter, Kanyon, Tylee, Cayden, Jersey, Xanden, Ally Rose, Melina; great-great-grandson, Zayn; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Randy DePriest officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
