Milton C. Sealey, Jr., 78, Carthage, MO passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin. Milton “Milt” C. Sealey was born on March 24, 1939 in Syracuse, NY to the late Milton and Elizabeth Sealey. Milt was the oldest of three children. Sister Ann Hahnenstein (husband Hans), resides in Chesterfield, VA and brother David Sealey (wife Sandy), resides in Albuquerque, NM.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Carol, and five children, all living in Carthage, Karen Nassif(husband Joe), Ron Sealey, Holly Saiz (husband Steve), John Sealey and Heather Ortega (husband Richard), seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Milt worked many jobs over the years, the last being receiving clerk for Butterball until his retirement in 2007. The “hobby farm” with chickens, goats, and cows gave him enjoyment over the last few years. Milt and Carol have been members of Fairview Christian Church for many years.
A memorial visitation will be held 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial gifts are suggested to Fairview Christian Church in care of Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
