Darold Dean Tate Sr., 91 passed away March 21, 2019 at Mercy Hospital, Carthage. Darold was born December 4, 1927 in New Market, Iowa to Frank and Arvilla Tate. Darold was a truck driver and was involved in the PRCA Rodeo association for many years. He made turquoise jewelry, rode bulls, was a rodeo clown, most of all he loved horses and being on the ranch.
Darold was united in marriage to Marjorie Jones June 1964 in Denver Colorado, she preceded him in death September 22, 1994.
Darold has been with his best friend Faith Ryan for 24 years, she survives.
Darold is survived by a half-sister Mary Hern, one son Darold Tate jr., one daughter Kathy Volman, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Darold is preceded in death by his parents, wife, an infant daughter Mary Tate, daughter Diana Tate and one brother Donald Tate.
The body has been taken for cremation and private services will be held at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
