Jerald D. 'Jerry' Jackson, age 67, Miami, Oklahoma, passed away at 7:46 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital.
Jerry was born March 17, 1952 in Akron, Colorado to Dorcas Lanning and the late James Jackson.
Jerry worked in construction for most of his life as a plumbing contractor. Jerry was quiet in nature, choosing to observe and learn about the things surrounding him. He loved nature, animals and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his father, Jerry was preceded in death by a brother, James 'Jamie' Jackson.
Jerry is survived by his children, Brandy Hagston and husband, Mark, Joplin, Betty Cummings and husband, Manuel Cervantes, Carl Junction, Jack Jackson and fiancé, Megan Francis, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Thomas Jackson and wife, Kayleigh, Fayetteville, North Carolina; his mother, Dorcas Lanning, Saginaw; siblings, Leslie Clair, Montrose, Colorado, Kathy Cruz, Arvada, Colorado, Diane Hendrix-Everett, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Lonna Harms, Fairland, Oklahoma, Matt Hendrix, Miami, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brittany Hagston, Austin Hagston and wife, Machelle, Van Zeien, Jacob Zeien, Abigail Mayfield, Kailyn Jackson, Gabriel Jackson, Sophia Jackson, Colton Jackson; and a great grandchild, Angelice Amparo.
Celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 22 at 6:30 pm at his mother’s home in Saginaw, MO.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
