Robin Angela "Angie" Atkinson, age 48, Joplin, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 unexpectedly at her home.
Angie was born September 25, 1970 in Joplin, daughter of the late Marlin Allen and Joyce Hirshey Allen. She grew up in Joplin, and worked several jobs including waitressing at several area restaurants, most recently with Ryan's.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kandi Spencer.
Survivors include her daughters, Kayla Mohr and husband Ace of Carthage, Missouri, and Mandy Allen of Joplin; grandchildren, Kloie Simonds, Oaklyn Mohr, Jaxyn Allen; brother, Kerry Allen and wife Amy of Joplin; nephews, Blake Hurley, Dakota Allen, Jason Hirshey, and Charles Hirshey; uncle, Bill Hirshey and aunt, Kathy Hirshey of Joplin.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Lazareth's House in Galena, Kansas with her brother, Kerry Allen, officiating.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
