Wanda White

Wanda Lavon White, 94, former Granby resident, entered into rest on April 10, 2019 at Seneca House, following an extended illness.

Wanda was born October 7, 1924 in Stone County, MO, the daughter of Hershel Amos and Rena Mae (Reynolds) Leonard. She was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. She enjoyed birdwatching, cooking, working in the garden and sewing and was member of the Granby Baptist Church. 

Wanda married Azel ‘Marion’ White on May 14, 1952 at Bentonville, AR and he preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2013. 








Wanda is survived by two sons, Mike White of Neosho and Steve White of Miami, OK; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded by her sister, Nadine Blankenship. 

Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 2 pm at Granby Memorial Cemetery, Dr. Jerry Siegel will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday prior to the graveside services from 12:30 to 1:30 at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
