Glenn Dean Conway, age 60, Loma Linda, Missouri, passed away early Thursday morning, April 11, 2019 at his home with family by his side. Glenn was born May 10, 1958 in Avilla, Missouri to the late Clifford “Cotton” Conway and Lavon (Liessee) Conway. He was a 1976 graduate of Sarcoxie High School.
Glenn married Rhonda West on August 23, 1979 in Sarcoxie, Missouri; she survives. He worked in management for MHC Kenworth in Joplin. He was a member of the Eagle Creek Golf Club. Glenn loved to play golf and go fishing, but most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; one son, Travis Conway (wife Cyndi), Carthage, Missouri; one brother, Dale Conway (wife Carolyn), Sarcoxie, Missouri; one sister, Karen Thurman, Maple Grove, Missouri; three grandchildren; Kimberlyn, Karsyn and Kollyns Conway, all of Carthage; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and Divot and Bella.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Carl Conway, Clifford Conway and Keith Conway; one sister, Wanda Hull; one brother-in-law, Roy Thurman; and an uncle, CV “Pinky” Conway.
Visitation will be held 6-7 pm Monday, April 15, 2019 at Knell Mortuary, Carthage. Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Knell Mortuary. Interment will follow in Avilla Cemetery, Avilla, Missouri. Memorial gifts are suggested to American Cancer Society in care of Knell Mortuary.
