(From Brenner Mortuary)Barbara J. Redd, 77, of Wichita, KS, passed away on December 25, 2020, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, Kansas.
Barbara was born on December 1, 1943 to George and Audra Margarett (Standlee) Long in Pittsburg, Kansas. She graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1961.
She married Paul L. Redd on December 25, 1961. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2004.
Barbara was a homemaker and loved being outside. She enjoyed going to flea markets. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Membership was held at the Lighthouse Tabernacle Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Shari Clayton and her husband Chad of Wichita, KS; and two sisters, Eudella Remscheid of Flower Mound, TX and Audine Dickey of Liberal, MO; two grandchildren, Doug Redd and his wife Kandi of Pittsburg, KS, and Kurtis Redd Wydick of Aurora, CO; two great-grandchildren, Kirsten Redd and Audrey Redd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Paul Douglas "Doug" Redd.
A Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 30th, 2020, at the Mt Olive Cemetery with Daryl Gaddy officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Brenner Mortuary in Pittsburg, KS. Memorial donations can be made to the Great Grandchildren's Education Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Brenner Mortuary, 114 E. 4th St., Pittsburg, KS.
