Samuel Lee Walker, age 82, of Lamar, Missouri passed away December 26, 2020, at his home after a short illness.
Sam was born December 9, 1938 in Golden City, MO to Wilfred Walker and Anna Pearl (Ukena) Walker. Sam graduated from Golden City High School in the class of 1955.
On June 6, 1958, Sam married Norma Jean Sheat in Lamar, MO.
Sam was a retired truck driver but worked most of his life as a farmer. His passions were family and farming. He enjoyed reading, gardening, puzzles, cards, dominoes, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, one son; Mark (Rhonda) Walker of Fort Scott, Kansas, three daughters; Debra (Royce) Anderson, Jerico Springs, MO, Sondra Jackson, Humansville, MO, Sherry Gastel (Cooper Cox) of Lamar, one brother; James Walker, Dudenville, MO, three sisters; Pearl (Leroy) Graham, Shawnee Mission, KS, Linda (Ronnie) Means, Lamar, Barbara (Bob) Evans, of Jasper, MO, eight grandchildren; Jeanne, Jacob, Ginger, Dustin, Heather, Alisha, Diahn, and Zac, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Preceding Samuel in death were his parents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
