Mr. Richard Stacy Smith, 63 of Anderson Missouri, departed this life on Friday, December 25 at the Golden Living Center in Anderson Missouri from cancer and the lingering effects of an automobile accident in Oklahoma in 2006.
Richard was born on September 18, 1957 in Gardena California to the late James E Smith and Miriam L Smith (McCleskey).
Richard was married twice. His First wife Toni Smith (Hungate) of Arkansas whom they raised their two sons John T Smith and Bucky Bowers and Linda (Sam Weber Kirchhoff) Neosho they both survive.
Richard traveled to many states while growing up and attended Schools in California, Missouri and Kansas. His last school was McDonald County High School. He faithfully served his Country in the US Army and Reserves obtaining the Rank of Sgt E5 while a member of Company A 203rd Engineer BN Anderson, Missouri. Richard completed over 17 years and 8 months of service. Richard worked for Taylor homes in Anderson Missouri for several years doing setup and service work. He was well known for his building and concrete skills. He co-owned Tri-State Concrete Pumping Service and Tri-State Home Improvements. Rick enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing and collecting old German Beer Steins. Richard was of the Baptist faith.
Richard had four brothers James M. Smith deceased, Alan L. Smith and Brenda Smith of Anderson, John R. Smith deceased, James E. Smith, Jr. of Anderson Missouri.
He is survived by two children John T. Smith of Gravette, Arkansas and Bucky Bowers of Anderson; grandchildren, Jonathon D. Smith, Tyler Scott Smith, Nicole Johnson, Timber and Jack Bowers; and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 28, 2020 at Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson with Jim Starr officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Jonathon Douglas Smith, James Smith, Alan Smith, Steven Ogden, Jeff Patterson and Jared Jackson.
