Noel Wilkins

Mr. Noel Orren Wilkins, passed away in Springdale, Arkansas surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 20, 2020.

Noel entered this life on December 26, 1939 in Gravette, Arkansas, born to the late, Reuben and Irene Wilkins. He proudly served his country in the Navy Reserve and the Army. 

He moved his family to Southwest City, Missouri in 1974 and opened the Locker Plant, which he owned for six years; during this time, he also worked as a mail carrier in Joplin, Missouri, where he retired after 30 years. He was also the Southwest City Police Chief and coached summer league baseball. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Tony Wilkins and Nelson Wilkins.

Noel is survived by his wife of 17 Years, Brenda K. Wilkins; children, Mike Wilkins and wife, Tammy, Kevin Wilkins and wife, Shannon, Dwayne Wilkins and wife, Jackie, Brenda Sue Russell and Jared Rinehart, Steven Brown and Wife, Laura, Carol Allison and husband James; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; his ex-wife, Edith Inman and husband, Benny; along with a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss Noel.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date. 

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction by the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson, Missouri.
