(From Parker Mortuary)Mark Allen Higgins (Pert) age 60 from Joplin MO passed away December 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital from complications of Diabetes.
Mark grew up in Hays KS, graduated from Fort Hays State University with a degree in Agriculture.
He worked many years as a self-employed tile contractor, Loved the outdoors, gardening, his dogs, and the KC Chiefs.
Survivors include: Daughters Ashley Crocker Greenville SC, Courtney Rogers, Branson MO he was so proud of and loved them so much. Granddaughter Olivia Rogers, Branson, MO who was the light of his life. Parents Manley Higgins Joplin MO., Dalene (Tom) Peters , Sister Deann Osborne,, Step sister Keisha Jones, all of Tucson AZ, Step brother Kirk Peters of Lawrence KS., Nephew Robbie Peters, Minneapolis, MN and Niece Tonisha Washington, Phoenix AZ..
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and step sister Kayla Peters.
Mark had many lifelong friends and extended family he treasured. Many thanks to his best friend Mark O’Connor for always being there.
