Angela Lounis

Angela Sara Lounis, 44 of Joplin, left from the comfort of her home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 9, 2021. Angela, the daughter of Melinda Mohr and the late James Mohr, was born on June 30, 1976 in McConnellsburg, PA. 

Angela moved to Joplin with her family as a teenager. At the age of 18, she found her best friend and soulmate, Elimo Lounis IV, and married at 21 in Eureka Springs, AR. 

Angela’s joy in life was her family. Her laughter and happiness for life was contagious to all those around and her favorite times were family get togethers. She loved many things, but nothing more than being an amazing daughter, wife, mom, and grandma.

Survivors include her husband, Elimo “Manzy” Lounis IV, her three sons; Tyler and wife Lyndsay; Elimo V and his fiancé Cortney; Jalen; and her most precious gift of all, one grandson, Zander Lee; All of Joplin; She is also survived by her mother, Melinda Mohr; of Joplin. She is proceeded in death by her father, James Mohr. She will always be loved and remembered by her friends and family.

Private Family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
