(From Parker Mortuary)Beverly Jean Baldwin, age 90, made the decision to go home to be with her Jesus after having a fall and was a patient at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She went to Heaven on Monday, July 28, with her son and girlfriend by her side.
Beverly or Bev, as many people called her, loved Jesus, her flowers, gardens, flea markets, Boyd’s Bears, Hummels, head vases and dolls. She also was an avid bowler at Bowl-A-Rama, Plaza Lanes, and 4th Street Bowl in Joplin. She had many collections of her favorite things. She enjoyed spending time with her son, grandson, great-grandson, nieces and nephews.
Beverly was married to the love of her life, Don for 60 years. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Jackson, and her sisters, Dixie and Patty. She is survived by her one and only wonderful son, Robert (Patty)Pippin, a grandson, Rob (Kaitlin), 1 great grandson, Zachary, her nieces and nephews, and a few close friends.
At her request, there will be no formal service but please plant a flower to remember her by.
Cremation arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, MO.
