(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Dana Ann Blizzard Findley of Tulsa, OK passed from this life Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Maplewood Care Center in Tulsa, OK. She was 55.
Dana was born May 19, 1970 in Belvedere, IL the daughter of John and Rosalie (Radford) Blizzard. She had lived in the Picher, Quapaw and Grove area most of her life and graduated from Quapaw High School class of 1988. She was a member of the Cherokee Nation and had worked at Hudson Foods in Noel, MO and Wal-Mart in Grove, OK.
Dana was preceded by her father, John Blizzard, her dad Robert “Bob” Bruner, 3 brothers, J.O. Blizzard, Bud Williams and Mark Williams and 3 sisters, Kathy Blizzard, Connie Maxwell and Cindy Blizzard.
Dana is survived by 1 son, Donnie Findley of Grove, OK, 2 brothers, Scott Blizzard of Foyil, OK and Steve Bruner of Bluejacket, OK, 3 sisters, Kristi Blizzard of Claremore, OK, Trinity Blizzard of Miami, OK and Carolyn Blizzard of Afton, OK, 1 grandson, Michael Findley, her special mom, Portia DeRose of Afton, OK, lifelong friend, Corky Freeman of Miami, OK, special friend, Troy Birdsell of Grove, OK.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Pastor Danny Brandon will officiate, and Eulogist will be Corky Freeman. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home till 3:00 p.m. Services have been placed in care of Paul Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami, OK.
