(From Parker Mortuary)Jeanifer “Jeannie” Michelle Craig-Brown, age 58, Neosho, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
Jeannie was born December 5, 1966 in Joplin, MO. She is the daughter of the late Larry White and Michelle White of Fort Worth, TX. She grew up in Joplin and graduated from McAuley High School. She was a caregiver, homemaker and loved her work with breeding of dogs. Jeannie was a full time GiGi, MiMi and TiTi, who loved gardening, animals, nature, hiking, and her favorite hobby was crafting with her grandchildren. She had the kindest heart that loved big and felt deep. Our hearts are broken for a light that was extinguished way too soon. She will be missed beyond measure.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother Eva Jean “Mammy” Massey, grandfather Eugene “PaPa” Holloway, father Larry White, aunt and best friend Nancy Paradee, uncle Robert “Bobby” Burrus, son Logan Craig and grandson Nyles Wayne Arnold all of Joplin, MO, and her special companion, Hoggit.
Survivors include her partner, Donald “Don” Henley, Jr; mother, Michelle White of Fort Worth, TX; brothers, Brian Craig of Jay, FL, and Preston Kiefer of Joplin, MO, sister, Millissa Marcussen of Fort Worth, TX; children, Autemn Golden ‘Carr (Tyler) of Joplin, Stephanie Uhlhorn (Daryl) of Galena, KS, Aaron “Butchie” Benfield of Joplin, MO, Elizabeth “Sissy” Benfield of Webb City, MO; step-son, Dakota Henley; grandchildren Salome Zamora of Webb City, MO, Deorica Zamora (Marshal) of Southwest City, MO, Max Golden of Springfield, MO, Mia Golden (Jackson) of Joplin, MO, Jessica Long of Galena, KS, Isabella “Bella” Lannon (William) of Joplin, MO, Lukas Lannon of Webb City, MO, Kenneth Lannon of Galena, KS, Sirach Uhlhorn of Galena, KS, Evelynn Uhlhorn of Galena, KS, Myla Pyle of Baxter Springs, KS, Avery “Gumpy” Arnold of Kansas City, MO, Julia Arnold of Kansas City, MO; step-grandchildren, Lilly Henley and Levi Henley; great grandson, Hudson Lannon of Joplin, MO; lifelong partner in crime, Jill “YaYa” Nourani of Joplin, MO, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, Godchildren, friends and beloved pets, Gabby and Henny.
Memorial service will be Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel. The family will visit following the service at Parker Mortuary.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary
