Emma “Jane” Leavitt age 82 of Webb City, Mo. passed away Thursday November 7, 2013 following a short illness.
Jane was born March 25, 1931 in Goodson, Mo. to Abbis and Nellie Needham Hawkins.
She was employed by Freeman Health System as a LPN, retiring in 1996. She was a former Den mother and attended Central United Methodist Church, Webb City, Mo.
Jane married Jimmy Leavitt on December 31, 1950, and he preceded her in death on July 24, 1984. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 10 sisters.
She is survived by 1 son, Fred Leavitt, Joplin, Mo., and 1 sister Mae Scroggins, Urbana, Mo.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday November 12, 2013 at the Lindley Creek Cemetery, Bolivar, Mo. with Randy Wilson, minister officiating.
