Juanita Tusinger

Juanita M. Tusinger left this earth on November 23, 2013 and entered heaven’s gate to join her Heavenly Father, husband Charles, daughter, Melody and many beloved relatives.

Juanita was born on November 29, 1934, which was Thanksgiving Day at that time, to Frank and Anna Wallen in Humbolt, Kansas. She attended school in Humbolt and later moved to Joplin with her sister, Opal, and graduated from Joplin High School. She married Charles Tusinger on January 21, 1956. To this union was born 2 daughters, Charla and Melody. Juanita lived in Joplin until 1967 when she moved to Titusville, Florida, where she enjoyed the beautiful ocean and Florida living. She moved back to Missouri in 1973 and later to Muskogee, OK where she was a member of the Assembly of God church. Juanita was a Christian and is now enjoying walking on the streets of gold without her wheelchair. She loved and was dearly loved by her family and friends. She was always beautiful inside and out.

She loved cooking, gardening, feeding and watching birds. She loved writing poems, and doing crossword puzzles. She always made beautiful bouquets and shared them with people.

Juanita is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Charla and Billy Cravens. Grandsons Josh and wife Jamie Cravens, Pittsburg, KS; Matthew and wife Katie Cravens, Branson, Missouri. Great Granchildren: Cora, Jacob, Hayden and Ashton, Campton and Cole. One sister, Opal Massey, Sand Springs, OK; Brother-In-Law and wife Jack and Charlotte Tusinger, Carthage, MO and dearly loved nephews and nieces.

Juanita was preceded in death by Husband Charles, daughter, Melody, Parents, Frank and Anna Wallen , brother, Ed Wallen and sister Margarette Neptune.

Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 2:00 P. M. at Clark Chapel of Memories in Neosho, with Dr. James Hardwicke officiating. Interment will follow at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 9 – 5. Contributions in memory of Juanita may be made to the American Heart Association or Parkinson’s Group of the Four States C/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850-0066.
